About Us

Teal Arctronics & Automotive was founded February 6, 2019 in Midland, Texas by Andrew Teal. Andrew spent 15 years as an automotive technician, both in a dealership setting and in independent repair shops, specializing in Electrical Systems Diagnostics & Repair. After realizing the deficit of reliable repair facilities for industrial equipment, namely Welders & Generators, he knew something needed to be done. In an area heavy with oil and natural gas, it seemed unfathomable that there was nowhere to get your equipment serviced, yet this was the case. Teal Arc Auto started as an after hours business, only open from 6 PM to 12 PM in the evenings. Two years of burning the candle at both ends was enough to warrant a switch to full time operations. Teal Arc Auto gives quality service on welding equipment, generators, and automobiles, and in the years since, has expanded to offer Welding Equipment & Supplies, as well as Automotive Accessories. We are pleased to serve our community of hard working folks set on keeping the work moving. We are always looking for ways to be better, and better serve our customers, as well as constantly trying to bring more to the table. As far as we are aware, we are the only place you can bring your welder and your rig truck to get serviced in one place. We believe this is a big piece of what sets us apart, and as a small local business, a more personal customer experience is what you can expect from our shop. We stay up to date on current technologies in both the power generation industry as well as the automotive industry, allowing us to repair old and new alike. We have automotive programming capabilities up to the current model year, and resources to diagnose and fix even the most stubborn of electrical issues.
